OUR STORY
Growing up in an Italian-American family, the owner, Toni Illuzzi, was surrounded by delicious recipes created by her mother and grandmother. As Toni became well-versed in making these sweet treats, she decided to make a living from a family tradition.
Custom Cakes and Cookies opened in 1994 as a licensed, in-house bakery. As business grew, Custom Cakes rented a store front on Bedford Street in Johnstown, PA. Within two years, Custom Cakes owned and operated their first bakery and has remained in that location for over 20 years. Today, the bakery offers local deliveries while also supplying retailers and wholesale outlets. Custom Cakes and Cookies has won Simply The Best multiple years and has also won Best Gob in the Johnstown Galleria's Gobfest competition.
